Whew! 2022 was a crazy busy year for new music.
Maybe it was the pandemic that produced a backlog of new recordings that hit this year. Or maybe artists felt more comfortable to book tours that were less likely to cancel and wanted to support those tours with new releases.
Whatever it was, it seemed that there was A LOT of new albums to consider for this year's top 10. It's wild to think that there were some really, really good albums that didn't make the top 10 this year, but would have easily scored a spot in previous years. Heck, the albums from Skid Row, Simple Plan, Dragged Under, Dorothy and Love/Hate could have easily been THE top 5 on another list and no one would bat an eyelash!
But, alas, the Helping Hands Rock Reviews team had to narrow the field down to 10 albums and here is what we came up with...
